High Holy Days
High Holy Days 5777 / 2016
High Holy Days are a time for reflection, introspection, prayer, and re-connection. We welcome you and hope you join us in celebrating and observing these special Holy days. We offer a variety of services to meet the spiritual needs of our diverse community. We were honored and excited that soloist, Issac Assor, and his accompanist, Nissa, returned again in 2016. We hope you will be able to join us for a spiritually meaningful Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in the coming year.
Each year during High Holy Day services we like to take a moment to thank all of those members of the Temple who have been active in various ways to make Temple Sholom the special place it is. We call several groups of people up to the Bima for a special blessing during one of the services as noted below. We hope you will be present so we can offer you a special blessing for your involvement in the Temple.
High Holy Day tickets are free to Temple Sholom members whose dues are current through the first quarter of this fiscal year. Children up to 26 years of age are included as part of the family membership. Other immediate family (i.e., siblings, parents) can purchase High Holy Day tickets for $50 each. All others can purchase tickets for $100 each. Non-ticket holders are welcome to join us in our downstairs space and participate via a video feed of our service. While donations are appreciated, there is no charge for this.
We look forward to sharing future High Holy Days together!
